Information for Parents

Attendance

At Rush Common School, we believe that regular school attendance is key to every child’s success and is vitally important to their future. When children attend school consistently, they are able to access valuable learning opportunities as well as develop important social skills and build strong relationships with their peers and teachers.

At Rush Common, we believe that attendance is everyone’s responsibility and procedures are in place to support families and children with this. Our Attendance Lead and Pupil Support and Welfare Lead closely monitor student attendance and work collaboratively with families to ensure attendance is an important focus of our school.

Parents are able to monitor their child’s attendance throughout the school year via the ‘My Child at School’ app. Please contact the school office if you have any questions about this.

Attached below are the procedures for monitoring attendance at Rush Common.
