Year 6 had a fantastic day out at the Steam Museum on Friday 22nd November! They experienced what life might have been like during the war and the different sounds and noises associated with it! They pretended to act as evacuees travelling on a train with a billeting officer to safer destinations. The adults took part whole heartedly too! They acted out in role, selecting which evacuees would be most useful to them and their trade all doing their bit for the war effort! Thank you to all the parent helpers who accompanied us and joined in with the dressing up and acting!
