Year 4 enjoyed a wonderful interactive workshop at the Ashmolean. We looked at Ancient Chinese artefacts, carried out a treasure hunt for various items and listened to a story about the Four Dragons, an ancient myth the describes where four major rivers came from. While singing a song in Chinese, a crowd of visitors gathered around 4LR and enjoyed our impromptu musical performance. A very memorable day for us all.
A huge thank you to all the excellent education staff at the museum for providing such as valuable learning experience. We also extend many thanks to the Swire Foundation for funding our visit, as a way of enriching our Mandaron learning.
