On Friday, 26th January Year 4 attended the annual concert at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford, arranged by the County Music Service. The programme featured pieces from Romeo and Juliet (Tchaikovsky) and Radetzky March (J.Strauss), as well as an introduction to the instruments of the orchestra. The children also had the pleasure of visiting St Edmund Hall. They enjoyed a tour and learnt more about who St Edmund of Abingdon was. They experienced life as a student of ‘Teddy Hall’, a graduation ceremony and sampled some delicious university food. Everyone had a great time and were overjoyed by the experience. A huge thank you to all involved.
