Year 2 children spent an enjoyable day at the Roman villa at Chedworth, where they learned about the lives of the wealthy Romans who lived at the villa. They were able to tour the remains of their villa with its amazing mosaic floor and bath house. They also learned about their interesting bathing habits! The children dressed as slaves and created Roman ‘medicine’ using herbs and spices. In addition, they had the opportunity to handle a range of Roman artefacts.
