On Thursday 8th July, Year 2 children had a very enjoyable enrichment Nature Day. They took part in mini beast hunting and pond dipping, using the magnifiers to observe closely what was in the pond. They also measured lengths of daisies, leaves and the circumference of tree trunks. They wrote nature acrostic poems, made natural art pictures influenced by Andy Goldsworthy and butterfly feeders which they completed on Friday.
