On Monday 10th June, Year 2 braved the weather during their trip to Harcourt Arboretum, showing their great attitudes to learning and resilience. The children participated in a variety of activities including learning about trees from all over the world, building peahen nests, creating nature-based artwork and finding the perfect tree for peacocks to sleep in and call home. The children also had time to explore the arboretum and use their map-reading skills to locate different key points and find their way around. A big thank you needs to go to our parent volunteers who made the trip feasible by giving up their time to accompany us.
