Y1 Trip to the Natural History Museum

On 11th and 12th July 2017, Year 1 children visited the Natural History Museum in Oxford as part of their ‘Dinosaur’ topic. In addition to going on a dinosaur trail around the museum, the children learnt how fossils were formed. They worked out how big dinosaurs were based on the size of their footprints and whether they were carnivores or herbivores using footprint and size of teeth as clues.
