On Monday 23rd April, Year 5 visited the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. They had the opportunity to explore some of the amazing exhibits in the museum. Looking at clothing through the ages was particularly interesting and everyone was surprised at how many layers were worn by many people in the past! The building itself is very beautiful and everyone spent lots of time craning their necks to look at the intricate patterns in the architecture. The pupils also took part in a workshop during which they learned about The Great Exhibition of 1851 and looked at some of the items that were on display there.
