Stem Week at Rush Common

Throughout the penultimate week of term the whole school enjoyed a wide range of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) activities. We have had many outside visitors who, through a host of talks, demonstrations, workshops and experiments, have engaged, delighted and inspired our pupils. From making lava lamps, to extracting DNA from strawberries, the breadth of activities has been extraordinary and many pupil’s curiosity has been well and truly sparked. A special thank you to Gareth Simpson, who helped us to arrange the week, and our Science Leads Miss Walton and Mrs Brown.
