The school had a visit from, ‘Sports for Schools’ with Alistair Patrick-Heselton, a GB Paralympic footballer on Friday 8th June. The children took part in a series of fitness activities.
A whole school assembly to listen to his inspiring story followed this. Both staff and pupils left the hall full of admiration and determination at his achievements despite having been severely injured in a car accident in 2006.
