I have been a Staff Governor since October 2015, having joined Rush Common as Deputy Headteacher in September of that year. Over the last three years, it has been fascinating to see how the work of the Directors and Governors underpins and supports everything we do in school.
In February 2017, I was appointed as the Headteacher, a job that brings both challenges and triumphs every day. It is a privilege to lead a school, especially one as wonderful as Rush Common, and I feel very fortunate to have been given this opportunity.
I live in Oxford, so I’m not far from school. I feel very lucky to live in such a wonderful vibrant city and in such a lovely part of the world. In my free time I enjoy cooking, sewing, reading and the theatre, but most of all I enjoy spending time with my family.
