I have been a primary school teacher since 2001. I have mainly worked in year 6, but am a year 4 teacher at present. I genuinely love my job very much and find every day brings a new challenge.
I have been on the Rush Common Board of Governors since July 2017. I am working on the Teaching and Learning committee, focusing on school standards and pupil progress. I have enjoyed being able to use my teaching experience in a different capacity to help and support the school.
I have two daughters at Rush Common. One in year 3, one in year 6. As a parent I have always been impressed with the way in which the school is run and this feeling has been strengthened during my time as a Governor.
