I have been involved with Rush Common since 2019 when my eldest son joined the school. As well as being part of the governing body I am also currently Chair of the Educational Standards Subcommittee. I enjoy getting involved in the life of the school wherever possible and am proud to be linked to such a caring, inclusive and forward-thinking school. My professional background is in Education and I am a Chemistry teacher at a local secondary school. I therefore have a strong background knowledge of the curriculum and of pressures facing schools and teachers. I hope that as a governor I can use this to help the school build on their many strengths and support the staff in providing the best possible education for all pupils. Outside of Education I enjoy exploring the great outdoors with my children, keeping fit and getting lost in a good book.
