I am proud to be the chair of Rush Common Board of Governors and have been involved in the governance of the school for the past 10 years both as part of the ALT board and as a member of the Rush Common Board. As well as being the chair of the governing body, I am also a member of the Educational Standards Subcommittee and the link governor for Pupil Premium. My daughter attended Rush Common (she is now at University) and I have remained committed to supporting the school, which I believe provides a fantastic start to our children’s journey through education. In addition to being part of the board, I am a Human Resources Professional and run two small businesses, primarily working with the NHS. I spend what little spare time I have walking my crazy sprocker, Elvis, singing in a local choir and immersing myself in a good book.
