What an excellent week for the Cross Country runners! Representatives from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 attended the Abingdon schools’ competition on Thursday 4th, and left there being the only school with all 4 teams qualifying through to the Vale finals.These finals took place at Buscot Park, near Faringdon.Although the course was tough and undulating course the runners worked hard on what was an unusually hot October afternoon. The girls’ teams unfortunately finished outside of the top 3 from 10 schools. However the boys’ teams both finished 2nd place and are now through to the Oxfordshire School Games finals next spring. A fantastic effort! Well done!
