Charlie, Luca and Summer from last year’s Year 1 represented their year group at an awards presentation at Blenheim Palace on Thursday 25th January. The year group won The Duchess of Marlborough’s Annual Heritage Award for the Art and English work they had produced, following their visit to the palace in the summer term. Luca was also thrilled to discover that he had won an individual prize for his his exceptional Art and English work. They were accompanied by Mrs Stevenson and Mrs Audas. After a private tour of the palace the children met the Duchess of Marlborough and had their photographs taken with her. They then had the opportunity to view a special exhibition of their work and the day ended with a very special afternoon tea hosted by the Duchess. The school is very proud of their achievement. The rest of the year group celebrated back at school with their own royal tea party.
