On Beep Beep Day Year 1 learnt about the Green Cross Code. They sequenced instructions about how to cross the road safely and talked about the importance of wearing high visibility clothing and looked at some examples. In the Sensory Garden the children worked in groups and practised crossing the road safely.
Each child brought in a donation to support the charity, Brake. Funds raised for Brake help to support bereaved and injured victims of road crashes, to campaign on various issues including for 20mph limits and crossings in communities.
