Four teams represented the school at the Abingdon Swim gala on Wednesday 22nd November, competing against 16 other schools in various strokes for 25m races. All swimmers demonstrated their skills and determination and were a credit to the school. The yellow girls’ team was placed 12th , the yellow boys’ team 9th. Both the green girls’ and boys’ teams were placed 5th , missing out on qualification to the Vale round by 1 place. A special congratulations to Sam D in Year 6 for winning his backstroke race, and to Anya in Year 6 for coming 2nd in her freestyle race.
Also thanks to Mrs Rhodes and Mrs Davies who helped us with transport to the venue.
