On Tuesday 13th November we entered the Abingdon Schools Swimming Gala with 4 teams. The teams had to swim a freestyle relay, a medley relay and an individual stroke race. There were some excellent techniques and lots of team encouragement throughout the competition. Alice won the front crawl race; Sandra came 3rd and Ella came 3rd in the butterfly race. Out of 17 schools our Boys B team finished 12th, Boys A 8th, Girls B 5th and Girls A 2nd. By finishing in the top 4, that they have now qualified through to the Vale Finals in April 2019. Congratulations! and well done to all our swimmers who took part.
