Year 3 had a very exciting morning at the Abingdon School where they visited the Yang Science Lab. They learnt about the forces involved in spaceflight and those that need to be overcome. Abingdon School staff were very impressed with the children’s in depth knowledge of Space and Forces. They had the opportunity to use Newton metres to measure gravity and practise simple graph-plotting skills. We would like to thank the Abingdon School for offering such an enjoyable and informative workshop for the children.
