On Thursday Y3 were invited to Long Furlong School to listen to Sam Copeland, author of ‘Charlie Changes into a Chicken’. It tells the story of a young boy who is quite anxious and has many worries in his life and explores how he learns to how to cope with such situations with the help of some friends. The children enjoyed taking part in a world cup to find the most disgusting animal and they found out many great facts about some of these animals! Sam also read part of his book to the children and told us about two other books that will follow on.
