On Thursday 13th December A group of Year 5 and 6 children attended the Vale Basketball competition fas they have been covering Basketball within curriculum time. Both teams played some great games, especially as they had not played together prior to the tournament. The green team drew with Charlton, and beat Wantage in a tough game; they lost to St Amand’s and St Michael’s (both finalists). The yellow team beat Stanford and Milbrook with some great baskets scored, and lost out to Wantage and St Blaise. The boys showed excellent teamwork and Rush Common values throughout the tournament. Well done!
